Experience Review:
Cabo Adventures' facility offered a peaceful respite from the bustling streets, lacking parking but compensated by a neighboring lot. Inside, the closed area shielded us from the constant hustle, providing a tranquil waiting space equipped with necessities and comforts.
Our tour, significantly under capacity at 6 people, felt exceptionally personal and intimate. We first slowly coasted along to the Arch, posed for photos with the photographer at the Arch, Pelican Rock, the Pacific Window, and Land’s End, and then took off toward our snorkeling destination. The boat's remarkable speed, an exhilarating prelude to our snorkel, was both a thrill and a surprise, as we were captivated by whales en route (not standard—we got lucky with an extra bonus whale watch!). At Chileno Beach, the underwater world unveiled its wonders, enhanced by our interactions with marine life, courtesy of tortillas provided by the awesome crew.
Upon return, the hospitality of Cabo Adventures shone through, with refreshing jicama water, water, and fresh quesadillas, as we eagerly awaited our photo viewing—a perfect conclusion to an adventure that surpassed all expectations. Decide ahead of time if you are going to want photos—if you want one, the pricing makes it worth just paying to have them all, so make the most of their talented photographers. The one disclaimer is they do take your device and plug it directly into a laptop which has many other devices connected to it, and nothing is secured. If this makes you uncomfortable, only order prints.
You can read more about Cabo Adventures overall below, but I’ll repeat some essentials here—yes, there are cheaper options, more combo options, more of everything—if that is what you want, you will find it. With Cabo Adventures the price is that you’re paying for infrastructure and forethought around your experience. There are multiple food options, air-conditioned seating areas, bathrooms, all those things you don’t want to have to figure out in an unfamiliar place where you will be offered anything and everything you could want or not (come prepared to say “no, gracias” and be polite, people are trying to live!). Cabo Adventures is the “let the tour guides worry about it, not me” option that is reliable because they have to maintain a large system and business if they want to sustain it in such an incredibly competitive environment. I would tour with them again!
Cabo Adventures Review
Key Takeaways:
Facility Benefits: A tranquil space to prepare for your adventure, with amenities that cater to your comfort. You don’t need to think about going to the bathroom or anything else before getting to the facility, they have all the major essentials if you forget something.
Underwater Magic: Snorkeling in Cabo's vibrant waters reveals a world of marine beauty, further enriched by the option to explore via paddleboard, kayak, or scooter at no additional cost. If you have an underwater camera, the shots will be very clear!
Consider a Wetsuit: If you are going any time but the summer (yes, even if you think you can handle cold water), I would recommend a shorty just so you’re comfortable. As an added bonus, it’ll protect you from jellyfish (which are not as painful as you think—don’t let it stop you). This is the one my partner and I use that worked well for us.
Prepare for Speed: Ensure all belongings are secure to fully enjoy the thrilling ride. I know people say that, but I mean it—don’t have things loose, tie down extra clothes, and if your hat isn’t partially cutting off circulation from tightness, it isn’t tight enough.
